Cycling with kids doesn’t mean compromising on the fun. These routes are ones my family and I have tackled ourselves, and they’ve been really excellent adventures. We’ve chosen routes which are almost entirely traffic-free and with the right mix of manageable distances, stunning scenery, and plenty of opportunities to stop for a break – whether it’s a lakeside picnic, a quick play at a local playground, an outdoor swimming pool, a gorge walk or a high ropes park.
