Wild Bee Outdoors is not a registered travel agency. I cannot book your trip for you. I try to provide you with all the advice and inspiration you need to plan an independent trip. I may link to some of our preferred providers for online booking services.

Hi! I’m Bea, and I’ve worked in the travel and outdoor industry since 2006. Through this blog, I share everything I’ve learnt about planning active, independent family adventures across Europe. I particularly love hut to hut hikes and multi-day cycling tours; all tried and tested with my own kids! I cover all the practical details too: from choosing the right route to finding great places to stay, and I love using Europe’s brilliant train network to make the journey part of the adventure. I'm not a mountain guide, just a passionate hiker and cyclist. I want you to use the information I provide here, but please, always double-check your plans. Trails can change and snow can stick around even in the height of summer. Take ownership of your adventure. Do your homework, plan your routes carefully, double check the weather forecast, and never head out unprepared. Wear sturdy, waterproof footwear, pack essentials like maps, navigation apps, food, water, cash, a phone and a battery pack. The mountains can be unpredictable!
